I am a cofounder of Zoba, a machine learning and optimization startup in the mobility space. We are building technology that makes new mobility systems more efficient and sustainable.

Before Zoba, I cofoundedTella and Whistler, tools that make it possible to send data and forms in a way that is secure for people in high-risk conditions—like election monitors and journalists in repressive societies. I also worked as a researcher for former presidential advisor David Gergen and Yale professor Nicholas Christakis (mostly contributing to Blueprint: The Evolutionary Origins of a Good Society).

I studied at Harvard College (BA) and Peking University (MA), where I was a Yenching Scholar. I mainly use this site for personal photography.
